Library Cards:
-Free library service to Texas residents or property owners
*Must provide proof of residence
-Non-residents of Texas must pay a $5.00 non-refundable charge for one year, or $10.00 non-refundable for 3 years.
-Replacement Card fee is $3.00 for a lost, and $5.00 charge for additional cards replacement
-Only one card per patron, no exceptions
Circulation:
-Book Loan
*Two books per card for two-week loan period
*Disabled persons allowed four books per card for two-week loan period
*Books not on reserve may be renewed for an additional 28 days
*Books not on reserve may be renewed by phone
-Overdue Book
*The patron is responsible for returning books on time
*Notification may be made for overdue books
*Regardless of notification, responsibility remains the patron’s
*Twentyfive cents per day fine per book for each day overdue
*Additional fifty cents per notification letter
-Circulation Desk
*Desk is closed twenty minutes before library closing to allow for
completion of daily reports
Other Services:
-Interlibrary Loan
*Service is available to all library patrons at a cost of $2.00 to help defray
cost of postage and handling
-Photocopy Machine
*Service is available to all patrons at a cost of .25 cents a copy
*Refunds will NOT be given for any reason
*Photocopier use is closed twenty minutes before library closing
*Please do not insist on using the photocopier when use is closed
*Change is available at the circulation desk
-Fax Service
*Send a fax-First page cost $3.00, $1.00 additional page
*Receive a fax-$1.00 every page |
